FINANCIAL ALLOWANCES
- Home Share providers receive an allowance that is based on the type and frequency of support. This aims to cover expenses incurred. It is non-taxable.
- Home Share providers are not paid employees/staff.
- The fundamental ethos of Home Sharing is to establish and build friendships with care and support, rather than carrying out a paid staff role.
